Work with Me
Personalised Nutrition Consultations
Every person starts from a different place.
During our consultation, we'll take the time to understand your health, lifestyle, nutrition, and activity before developing personalised recommendations that fit your life, not someone else's.
My goal is to help you leave with a clear understanding of what matters most for you, and the confidence to put those recommendations into practice.
How it works
1
Before your consultation
Complete your health and lifestyle questionnaire and a 5–7 day food diary.
I'll review and analyse this information before we meet, giving me an understanding of your current nutrition, health, lifestyle and activity and helping me prepare for our consultation.
2
Your consultation
We'll explore your nutrition, health, lifestyle and goals in more depth, discuss what's working well and where you may be getting stuck, and work out your key priorities.
From there, we'll develop practical strategies that fit your life and agree on your next steps.
3
Personal Nutrition Action Plan
Following your consultation, you'll receive a concise
Personal Nutrition Action Plan outlining your key priorities, personalised recommendations and agreed next steps, along with selected guides, recipes and resources to help you put them into practice.
4
Follow-up support
Put your strategies into practice and see how they work in real life. If you'd like further support, optional follow-up consultations are available to review your progress, troubleshoot challenges and build on your nutrition over time.
Initial Nutrition Consultation
Comprehensive nutrition assessment & personalised strategy
Your initial consultation gives us the opportunity to look at the bigger picture — your current nutrition, health, lifestyle, activity and goals, as well as the factors that may be making progress more difficult.
Your initial consultation is designed to give you a clear understanding of what matters most and practical strategies you can start putting into action. For some people, that's all the support they need.
Others may prefer to work on their nutrition gradually, focusing on what's most important now rather than trying to change everything at once. If you'd like to review your progress, troubleshoot challenges or build on other areas over time, follow-up consultations are available whenever they're useful to you.

Follow-up Consultation
Support when you need it
Follow-up consultations are available if you'd like to review how things are going, work through a challenge or continue building on your nutrition.
Good nutrition isn't about following a plan perfectly for 8 or 12 weeks and then going back to how you ate before. The aim is to build a way of eating that can evolve with you — supporting your health and goals while still being enjoyable, realistic and flexible enough to maintain.
Life changes. There will be holidays, busy periods, changes in training, family demands and times when nutrition simply isn't your biggest priority. The goal isn't perfection — it's building the knowledge, habits and practical skills that help you find your way back.
During a follow-up, we'll look at what's working well, troubleshoot anything that isn't and decide what would be most useful to focus on next. That might mean refining an existing strategy, adjusting your nutrition as your needs change or building on another area when you're ready.
There is no set programme or timeline. I may suggest when I think a review could be useful, but follow-ups are completely optional and can be booked whenever you feel further support would be helpful.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be an athlete to work with you?
Not at all. I work with active people at all stages. Whether you’re training for an event or just moving your body regularly, the goal is the same: to feel energised, recover well, and support your body properly.
Are consultations online?
Yes. All consultations are delivered virtually across New Zealand, allowing flexible scheduling and easy follow-up.
Which consultation is right for me?
If you're new to Nourished for Success, start with an Initial Nutrition Consultation. This gives me the opportunity to understand your health, nutrition, lifestyle, activity and goals before making personalised recommendations.
If we've worked together before, you can book a Follow-Up Consultation to review your progress, troubleshoot challenges, ask new questions or adjust your nutrition strategy as your needs evolve.
What will I receive after my initial consultation?
You'll receive a personalised Nutrition Action Plan summarising your key priorities, recommendations and practical next steps.
Where helpful, I'll also select relevant Nourished for Success guides, recipes and resources to support the areas we've discussed.
The aim is to give you clear, personalised direction without overwhelming you with unnecessary information or a rigid plan.
Is this a meal plan or a strict diet?
No. I don't believe most people need a rigid meal plan telling them exactly what to eat each day.
Instead, we'll look at your current eating patterns and identify practical changes that support your health, lifestyle, training and goals. You'll receive personalised recommendations, along with meal and snack ideas and resources where helpful, while still having the flexibility to choose foods you enjoy.
Do you follow a specific diet or nutrition style?
No. There isn't one way of eating that suits everyone. My recommendations are personalised to your health, lifestyle, preferences, activity levels and goals, using evidence-based nutrition rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Do I have to book regular follow-ups?
No. Depending on your goals and individual needs, I may recommend a follow-up timeframe that I feel would be helpful, but this is always optional.
Follow-ups are available when you'd like to review your progress, build on your initial action steps, troubleshoot challenges or adjust your strategy. There is no requirement to commit to weekly appointments or an ongoing coaching programme.
Do you provide supplement guidance?
Yes. Supplement recommendations are provided where appropriate and are always based on your individual needs and current evidence. My approach is food first, with supplements used only when they're likely to provide additional benefit.
Can I book a follow-up if I haven't had an initial consultation?
Follow-Up Consultations are for existing Nourished for Success clients.
If you're new, you'll first need an Initial Nutrition Consultation so I can properly understand your health, nutrition, lifestyle and goals before providing personalised advice.
Can you help with my health concerns as well as my training?
Absolutely.
Nutrition is about much more than sports performance.
I work with people looking to support areas such as metabolic and cardiovascular health, digestive health, perimenopause and menopause, healthy ageing, body composition, energy and recovery, alongside those wanting to better support their training and performance.
Your recommendations are based on the whole picture — your health, lifestyle, activity, food preferences and individual goals.
Can you help me prepare for an event?
Yes.
If you're training for an event such as a marathon, ultra-marathon, HYROX, triathlon or cycling event, we can look at how your everyday nutrition supports your training, recovery and performance.
Where more detailed event fuelling is needed, this can be developed and refined through follow-up consultations as your training progresses. This allows us to practise and adjust your strategy before event day rather than relying on a one-off plan.
Detailed event fuelling strategies are typically developed as part of a comprehensive consultation and follow-up support, once we've established the foundations of your everyday nutrition. Together, we'll develop and practise a fuelling strategy during training so it supports your energy needs, is well tolerated by your gut, and gives you confidence on event day.
Can I claim my consultation through health insurance?
I am registered with Clinical Nutritionists Aotearoa NZ Inc, which is recognized by Southern Cross, NIB and Accuro. As cover varies between policies, I recommend checking with your insurer before booking to confirm your eligibility.
