About Anna
Hi, I’m Anna
I am a nutritionist, mum of two, and someone who loves real food, movement, and simple habits that make everyday life feel easier.
Originally from the Netherlands, I moved to New Zealand with my Kiwi husband after sailing here together almost 20 years ago. We now live on the Hibiscus Coast with our two energetic boys. I spend most of my spare time in the garden, cooking, walking in nature, and staying strong at the gym.
I worked as a radiographer and radiation therapist for more than 20 years before retraining in nutrition. That experience taught me the value of simple habits, prevention, and empathy in supporting people. My approach is evidence-based and practical, and it focuses on what works in real life.
Like many parents, I have experienced busy seasons, stress, body changes, and the pressure to keep everything together myself. I understand how perfectionism and all-or-nothing thinking can affect food and health, and I focus on helping people find confidence and ease instead. My personal experiences help me support you with simple and realistic habits that feel achievable in everyday life.
My work is about helping you feel confident and clear around food. I believe health grows from consistent, real-life habits, self-love, and a gentle, supportive approach rather than strict rules.
If you want nutrition support that feels calm, simple, and sustainable, I can help.
Let us take the first step toward a healthier, stronger, and more balanced life together.
"Know that you can start late,
look different, be uncertain,
and still succeed"
-Misty Copeland
