About Anna

Hi, I’m Anna!

Originally from the Netherlands, I moved to beautiful New Zealand 20 years ago to build a life with my Kiwi husband. One of our greatest adventures was sailing here together—a journey that remains close to my heart. These days, we’re raising two energetic boys who share our love of sailing and life on the water. When I’m not cheering them on at their sporting events, I’m usually in the garden, exploring nature on long walks, or prioritizing my wellness with strength training at the local gym.

My professional journey began in public health, where I spent 25 years working as a radiation therapist and radiographer. Over time, I discovered the transformative power of good nutrition, movement, and strength training in my own life, which inspired me to retrain as a nutritionist to help others make lasting, meaningful changes. While my primary focus now is nutrition, I continue to support women’s health in a part-time role as a radiographer with BreastScreen New Zealand—something I remain deeply passionate about.

As a nutritionist, I believe optimal health, well-being, and performance aren’t about restrictive diets or chasing perfection—they come from mindset shifts and small, consistent habits that fit your real life.

Like many parents, I’ve experienced the changes that come with pregnancy, aging, and the constant balancing act of work, family, and self-care. I know how easy it is to feel pressure to “have it all together”—especially in a world where social media shows only the highlight reel. In reality, health isn’t perfect meals or flawless routines—it’s about learning to care for your body and mind even when life is messy.

I’ve struggled with weight, body image, and burnout at different stages of my life. Those experiences taught me that a smaller body or a perfect lifestyle doesn’t create happiness or peace of mind. What truly matters is feeling strong, grounded, and confident in your own skin—inside and out.

I work with both women and men who are ready to move beyond all-or-nothing thinking and find a sustainable, balanced approach to health. Whether your goal is improving energy, managing weight, or building strength, my approach is practical, realistic, and compassionate.

True success isn’t about hitting a number on the scale—it’s about building a body and mindset that support the things you love to do.

My mission is to empower people to feel capable, confident, and in control of their health—without restriction, guilt, or perfectionism.

Let’s take the first step toward a healthier, stronger, and more balanced life—together.
